What we learned this week.

This week we looked at different types of drones. We also learned about common mistakes made in integrating drones into an organisation. We learned about some of the most common regulations that governments put in place about using drones, and best practice approaches to thinking about drone integration in your organisation.

Finally, we saw some of the issues in managing batteries, which are an essential part of the drone. It’s important that managers have the ability to understand some of the dangers of the technology to ensure your staff are working in a safe way.

Next week we’ll be looking at human factors, which is about ensuring your people are ready to operate drones. We’ll also look at some international standards, and considerations around creating policies and procedures for the use of drones in your organisation.
