In the previous step, we discovered KPIs. This lesson will look at some common examples so that we can create some context around how KPIs are used in a business setting.
There are various things that we would want to calculate that are industry-specific. For example:
Business:
Revenue (Price (times) Quantity)
Cost
Customer satisfaction
Time to market
IT:
Incident Resolution Time
Entertainment:
Cost per production hour
There are many KPIs that we could explore. We’re going get a chance to explore some of those in the labs, but in your business context, it’s worth researching what KPIs make the most sense for whatever you’re going to be working on.
