Teaching Online Classes

The teaching practice component consists of three classroom observations supervised by a locally appointed trainer. The first two observations are formative assessments and teachers receive feedback from their trainer with advice and guidance on areas for development. The third observation is a summative assessment and the trainer completes a summative assessment form with reference to the CELT-P/CELT-S assessment criteria and grade descriptors. The lessons are graded Fail, Pass or Merit.
