Welcome to week 2 of “Fungal Diagnostics in Critically Ill Patients”. So far, we have introduced what fungal diagnostics are and what makes a good test.
This week will explore the terminology surrounding fungal diagnostics and the different approaches which can be taken with fungal diagnostic tests. Clinical signs and symptoms will also be discussed, as well as the importance of fungal diagnostics in immunocompromised patients.
