We’ve now reached the end of Week 1, and thanks for all your comments and input into the course.

Week 2 is all about communication. You will:

  • Learn about the challenges people with intellectual disabilities face with regards to communication skills.

  • Learn the do’s and don’ts for making a connection and building rapport.

  • Be guided through techniques for developing accessible health promotion to improve your communication with the person with an intellectual disability.
