In this Step you can access a series of videos developed by the British Heart Foundation to find out more about the cardiovascular tests and treatments we mention within the course. The videos provide further details about each procedure and what patients can expect during their appointment.

Your guide to ECG

This is an additional video, hosted on YouTube.

You can find out more about ECG in Dr Sam Boateng’s video on Heart function in Week 1. Alternatively, if you’d like to investigate how an ECG can be used to detect abnormal heart rhythms, a major cause of sudden cardiac arrests, go to his video on Arrythmias shown earlier this week.
