Let’s practise if you can introduce others in Chinese

Do you know who is this person and where he is from?

Today we have learnt how to use the interrogative pronoun 哪 nǎ and the interrogative particle 呢 ne。

哪 + measure word/ noun + noun


你 是 哪 国 人?Nǐ shì nǎ guó rén?

我 是 美国 人。你 呢?Wǒ shì Měiguó rén. Nǐ ne?


Can you introduce one of your good friends to us by using what you have learnt. For example,

他叫什么名字? Tā jiào shénme míngzi ?

他是哪国人?Tā shì nǎ guó rén ?
