Guidance on how to further explore DAOs after this course, including links to helpful resources

Okay so you’ve finished the course and you’re probably excited to dive into DAOs, but you may not know where to start.

Well, the place to go is DeepDAO, the home to all on-chain analytics of DAOs. DeepDAO provides an overview of critical information, including:

total treasury size
who token holders are
token distribution
number of active members
how many proposals have passed.

This is a great place to find new DAOs to check out, from here you can conduct further research on your chosen DAO and determine whether you want to join.

Other tools that can support you in your DAO journey include Dune Analytics, which is a great place to access aggregated data on specific protocols.. You can also take their free course and become an on-chain sleuth yourself.

Depending on what protocol you are looking for there are also some great DeFi analytics platforms such as DefiLlama and Nansen.

Additionally, tools like CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko provide a great overview of the crypto market. They are also a great tool to compare products against others.

These are just a few of the tools that you can use to get started down the DAO rabbit hole and can all be accessed for free. There are a number of great tools out there that you can pay for as well and I encourage you to explore the ecosystem to find what works best for you.

In addition, you could join a DAO. This will give you a good understanding of how these tools work in the real world. If you’re looking to take the next step and want to start your own DAO go to Aragon, deploy your own and begin exploring the tools outlined in this course to help you gain a deeper understanding!
