Through the scientific principles of our main disciplines; biomechanics, physiology and psychology, we use and apply this understanding within sport and exercise. Sport and Exercise Science can be applied to a range of contexts and broadly split into ‘Sport Science’ where you can apply knowledge to maximise performance of an athlete or a team, and ‘Exercise Science’ where you can apply knowledge to improve mental and physical health through exercise.
