Learning outcomes

This page covers the learning outcomes for this activity

The following learning outcomes will be addressed in this section.

Demonstrate whether a chemical reaction will happen based on its energetic properties and temperature

We will cover the equation used to predict this, and its relationship with entropy.

Classify chemical reactions as endothermic or exothermic, predict whether they increase or decrease in entropy, and then finally predict and classify reactions as spontaneous or non-spontaneous

We will look at some chemical processes and whether they are endothermic or exothermic. Not all endothermic reactions are non-spontaneous, and the relationship with entropy will be covered.
