Your ideal career criteria

In this article, we discuss your ideal career criteria.
A huge part of being able to figure out your next career move is understanding what you want. This may seem like an obvious statement, and to some degree we have already started thinking about this in the course, but there are other aspects of your current career that we have not yet discussed.

The career audit in Week 1 helped you to gain clarity on the aspects of your career that contribute to a sense of fulfilment, meaning, and purpose. In the next few steps, we break it down even further, looking at the logistics and the day-to-day responsibilities of a role that contributes to your feelings of satisfaction.

So how can you measure this?

Firstly, we need to define the different components that contribute to your sense of satisfaction. Next, we need to prioritise these elements to assess what is most important to your sense of well-being.

Check out the different components that make up your career satisfaction level below.

Career Satisfaction

It’s your turn to consider each of the job satisfaction components. Download the workbook below and identify what’s truly important to you (your ‘must haves’/non-negotiables) and what you are happy to compromise on.
