Before we start, let us introduce who we are and what we do.

Educator

educator photo Professor Dr Rafdzah Ahmad Zaki A Public Health Medicine Specialist and Professor of Epidemiology and Public Health at the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya.

She holds a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Universiti Malaya, as well as an MBChB from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. Additionally, she has undergone advanced training in Evidence-Based Medicine at the University of Oxford. Dr. Rafdzah previously served as the Head of the Centre for Epidemiology and Evidence-Based Practice (CEBP) and has over a decade of experience in facilitating training on Evidence-Based Practice.

With more than 15 years of professional experience, Dr. Rafdzah has made substantial contributions to the field of public health. Her research interests encompass epidemiology, implementation science, infectious diseases, and advanced statistical methods. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, with her work garnering over 4,500 citations to date. Dr. Rafdzah’s research has been consistently supported by competitive international and national grants.

In 2023, she was ranked among the top 2% of scientists globally in her field by Stanford University, based on Elsevier’s data repository.
