Solution to barcode section of the alien challenge

So, our challenge was to solve the barcode here. That’s pretty easy - especially if you have this… The table of UPC. But even if you don’t have that table… from the row above of the puzzle we can see the symmetry in the barcode - you see this on the left hand is the same number - because they are the same barcode - one thin and one thick. and this on the right hand side of the barcode is one thick, blank and then one thin, again this is repeated, so this does look like the 999,999 we saw before, and indeed, we get here a barcode which is in UPC 999,999. as you can see that in the UPC table.

So, we know that times 7 this is equal to 999,999.
