Welcome to Week 1
Participants will not need any special tools other than access to the internet via any device (computer, tablet or smartphone) which will allow the participant to take notes, share ideas and participate in the discussion.
Aside from the lectures and reading materials, we highly encourage participants to take part in the activities and discussions for each week in order to enhance your understanding as well as to shape your reflection on what you have learn.
This week will cover the following three topics.
• Identity, culture and multiculturalism.
• A brief introduction to ASEAN, its history and its background.
• The evolution of ASEAN as a community.
This week’s activities will serve as a general introduction before you delve into more specific topics within the course.
