The Necessity of Physical Activity

Explore the reason why physical activity is critical especially for remote workers.

The corporate culture of sitting at work, desk-bound in offices is finally being questioned, as it may not be the most productive environment for everyone. With ‘work from home’ options, and inspiring workspaces with ergonomic chairs, stand-up desks, and in-house massages for stressed-out office workers, the fact remains that we still do not move enough.

The minimum requirements for incidental activity are not being met by the population (in any OECD nations) in sufficient amounts to receive the health benefits for posture, healthy weight maintenance, cardiovascular health, mental health, bone health, metabolic risk factors, and more.
