Exploitation: OWASP Juice Shop Setup
You are going to be using OWASP Juice Shop throughout this course. You will attempt to hack it, and you will assess its code to learn how to identify hacking attempts.
If this is your first time on the OWASP Juice Shop, sign up for a regular user account by going to the web application. Select the “Account” tab in the top right corner. Click on “Not yet a customer” and complete the User Registration.
While we work on different tasks, you need to see what is happening in the background. Whenever you log in, pop up browser Developer Tools (right-click and then go to “Inspect”) and switch to the “Network” tab so that you can see both client requests and server responses. Now you can log in.
