Understanding that projects in different settings and contexts have to be managed in different ways.

Due to different kind of settings, projects are influenced by different factors, which in turn influence the way of managing the projects.
Some examples of factors/aspects connected to the project examples on previous steps i.e. manage a satellite project, Olympic game inauguration project, research project, organizational change project, construction project, and a mountain climbing expedition (project):
- Complex organization management due to many people and professions involved (for example a satellite project)
- Extreme high quality requirements (for example a satellite project)
- Very strict time frames (for example a Olympic game inauguration project)
- Challenging to define the scope (for example an organizational change project)
- Difficult to set goals and scope (research project)
- Extreme risks (a mountain climbing project)
- Strict budget limitations and challenging resource management (a construction project)
