In this section, we have discussed different perspectives on how we know if a project is successful, and if it matters. Regardless of project, everyone involved wants to succeed with their projects – and get recognition for the efforts made, for example the project manager, the project team, the steering group, and the customer.
The case (The festival project) indicates and confirms that “project success is an elusive concept” and that there are several perspectives to consider when determining whether a project is a success or a failure.
