A person climbing a big mountain covered by snow.
The second week focuses on the project plan. It consists of three main topics and a conclusion.

The project plan – This topic describes what a project plan is and why it is needed. You will learn about the building blocks of a project plan through an exercise and you will also discuss your experiences of project planning with the learning community.

Goals, tollgates and stakeholders – Here you will learn about different ways to set up project goals and also explore the difference between goal-seeking and goal-oriented projects. The key terms goals, tollgates and stakeholders are of great importance when planning for project success, as they are critical when defining project success or failure.

Project plan vs. project planning – This topic describes the connection between project plan and project planning. What will happen when the project plan meets the reality? And what about the uncertainty aspect of all projects, is that to be considered a risk or an opportunity? You will also explore the project management triangle and evaluate which constraints are most important for different types of projects.

Reflection – The second week is summarized in the last topic, where you will be able to reflect on the content of the second course week, and interact with other course participants in the learning community.
