If you’re not sure of what you may look like on video or how your background looks in your room, you can try the video preview feature.

To start, open video settings in Zoom. On the video tab, you will see the live preview of your video. This is a good time to check if you have good indoor lighting and what your background looks like with your camera view. Directly under the video preview are more advanced settings. If possible, choose the 16:9 wide screen selection under the camera list. Under the meetings list, select “always display participant names on their video and also “always show video Preview dialogue when joining a video meeting “
