How many fish are there?
The exact sizes of different fish stocks are unknown, as we can’t get perfect data on how many fish there are. Fish are often migrating, and make part of a complex ecosystem that also changes often, mostly due to other human interventions. Estimations of fish stocks are done on the basis of data from fisheries and research by marine biologists.
