“Ideation” is about generating, developing, and evaluating ideas for launching innovative and viable new ventures.

Ideation entails a process of discovery designed to lead toward the creation of dynamic and impactful enterprises, whether business or social ventures.

Bryan W. Mattimore, in his book entitled Idea Stormers: How to Lead and Inspire Creative Breakthroughs introduces seven ideation techniques: questioning assumptions, wishing, semantic intuition, opportunity redefinition, picture prompts, triggered brainwalking and worst idea.
