Week 5 introduction

Week 5 introduction
3.8
Hello, welcome to the final week of this course. This week contains several short case studies about different challenges students face in their student assistantship or other roles within the organisation. Each case study is always structured in the same way. First, an issue or challenge is introduced by students or a group of students. Second, questions are raised on how to deal with the issue at hand. Third, you have the opportunity to discuss the issue or challenge. And Fourth, the students will present the solution or approach they have taken at the University of Groningen to deal with the issue or challenge in question. Like I stated in the welcome video for this course, you may select any case study you like.

Perhaps, you prefer to deal with the ones that appeal most to you. Or you can solve them all. I look forward to the discussions. Lots of success.
In this step, Klaas will introduce you to Week 5.
Week 5 will contain seven case studies. The case studies will allow you to practice the content of the past 4 weeks. All case studies are set up in the same way:
  1. First, an issue or challenge is introduced by a student or group of students. At the end of the introduction, they will pose a question on how to deal with the issue at hand.
  2. Second, you have the opportunity to discuss the issue or challenge.
  3. And third, the students will present the solution or approach they have taken at the University of Groningen to deal with the issue or challenge in question.
If you have any questions or suggestions, we are happy to hear from you! Please post them in the discussion area below every step.
