Peer review activity is an opportunity for you to share your advocacy plan with your peers within the learning community on this course and use their feedback to develop your ideas further.

Please read the instructions below for how to submit your peer review assignment, give and receive feedback:

  • You will need to follow the instructions given and write down your advocacy plan (maximum 600 words) as an assignment and submit it by clicking on the Submit button.
  • Please don’t forget to take into account the writing guidelines given in the rubric, they will be used by your reviewer(s) to review your plan.
  • After you submit your writing, it will be randomly allocated to another learner on this course (who has also submitted their own advocacy plan).
  • That learner(s) will send you some feedback on your writing, and the feedback should relate to the guidelines in the rubric.
  • In the same way, you will be sent a request to review another learner’s plan.
  • All notifications regarding peer-review (for example when you are allocated a review to do, as well as when you have received a review on your work) will arrive via the Your notification channel in your FutureLearn account (a bell symbol in the upper right hand corner of the screen, next to your FL account photo or initials).
  • Your work and the feedback will remain PRIVATE between the two of you (the only other people who will be able to access it are the course administrators, but they will not share it).

As any learner who has submitted work may review more than one piece of work, you may receive more than one review.

We, your educators on this course, encourage you to keep your work and any reviews that you receive, for your further reflection and improvement of your initial ideas.
