Summary of Week 2

what we learned
© Wellcome Connecting Science

In Week 2, you heard from professional trainers on how they applied pedagogical concepts explained in Week 1, to design and deliver their training courses, on various topics.

You heard how other trainers define overall goals and then how they plan and design their courses. You further learnt about designing activities and training resources and delivery and evaluation of different courses.

We hope that you found all of these useful in working on your own course design and that you are ready to finalise it in Week 3.

Reflection points:

  • How did you find the course material so far? Did you take part in discussions and tried the end of the week quiz?

  • Which of the case studies you heard about this week is most useful to what you are doing/planning to do?
