Following on from the previous step, participants now compare their ‘introspective’ findings about ‘party’ with some corpus evidence.

We would now like you to compare your ‘introspective’ findings about the word ‘party’ with some corpus evidence.

Your task

Compare the facts about ‘party’, which you assembled through pure introspection, with what you can discover in the short concordance from a corpus. Now consider the following two questions below:
