Reflecting on week 1 and looking ahead to week 2

a synopsis of week 1 and the learning outcomes that were covered and a look forward to week 2 and the future learning outcomes.
You have reached the end of week one – congrats! We hope you are enjoying the content and are excited to continue engaging with the course in the following weeks!

This week we started by looking at human anatomy. We explored the cardiovascular system. Then we looked at how our bodies get the energy they need. We then learned about respiratory and renal physiology. We hope you are gaining the knowledge to talk more productively with a health care provider. You should be more able to discuss how to make well-informed decisions about illness, wellness, and life-style choices.

As we head into the next week, we will continue to explore human body systems. In this week we will summarize the symptoms of some of the major diseases that impact the health of a patient. We hope these will help you to learn to identify a number of different disease processes. Another learning outcome is to help you to investigate reliable and current medical information. See you soon!
