Reflecting on the course

Congratulations! You have completed all three weeks of the Mini Medical School: Introduction to Medical Science course! We hope you have enjoyed the content in this course. Our goal was for you to gain medical knowledge that will serve you in your everyday life. We hope that you now better understand various body systems and cellular functions.

Now you should be better able to talk productively with a health care provider. You can ask for medical conversations to be held in everyday language. You can make more informed decisions about illness, wellness, and life-style choices.
You have learned about normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology. You have learned about certain disease processes. In addition, you can now summarize the symptoms of some of the diseases that impact the health of a patient. You can investigate reliable and up-to-date medical information to assist you and your family in making better health decisions in the future. Now, we encourage you to reflect on the information gained in this course and how it will impact your interaction with medical professionals in the future.

Thank you for taking this medical journey! We hope you had fun learning and engaging with us, and we hope to see you again in future courses.
