SPEAKER: A huge well done for completing the quiz and your first week of the course. Now in this week, you’ve been introduced to the concept of vector control from a global perspective. Hopefully, you’ll have gained a big picture overview of the history and current state of vector control, as well as address the need for this course and its content. Now that we’ve covered the rationale for vector control and how to implement successful vector control based on lessons learned, we can move on to discussing what’s needed to continue effective vector control in the future.
