Welcome to Personal Trainer’s Toolkit: Workplace Health and Safety in a Fitness Setting!

On successful completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Identify strategies to implement workplace health and safety procedures and work instructions
  • Identify ways to maintain the currency of safe work practices regarding workplace systems, equipment, and processes in own work area
  • Reflect on strategies to manage your own levels of stress and fatigue according to workplace procedures
  • Explain the workplace health and safety requirements to ensure safe work practices.

How you will be assessed

To complete the course and receive your certificate you need to complete the course material (videos, readings and activities), marking 90% of steps complete, and achieve a required grade on the final assessment at the end of the course.

The final assessment is a 10 question multiple choice test which you must receive a score of 70% or above to pass. If you complete the course material and take notes you will be well prepared for the assessment.
