  • Thanks for deployment!

    Thanks for your contributions.

  • Good documentation and record keeping, good assessment.

Communication and good record keeping are crucial.

Reflection is a learning tool, especially when done together.

I will endeavour to do the above and encourage colleagues to do the same. I will also encourage an open and honest environment for information sharing

  • The ideas for supervision are really useful.

  • Useful information!

Professional supervision has been provided by colleagues within the organisation with expertise in safeguarding or by my Line Manager .

  • Safeguarding adult care is not a job but a passion.

  • It's always nice to go extra miles in anything you do.

    Nice view sir

  • This is absolutely amazing

  • It's really amazing

  • Thanks @AndrewLeeman

    I've learnt from everyone here.

  • I always like your contributions

  • Ensure that the at risk person understands or make efforts to provide ways/means to help them understand eg interpreter, leaflets in simple words or with illustrations.

  • Yea, but how do we implement it in undeveloped country?

  • Very useful, lesson learnt

  • Could explain more?

  • How, could you list the points?

  • Sure, we do

  • Yea, absolutely

That's what i love so much here.

  • In my working place, we still make use of manual recordings.
I believe computerized document solved a lot of the old problems like availability of the document and the clear hand writing

  • Absolutely, that's how we do it

  • Healthcare professionals must be clear about when they should share information, and recognise the signs and triggers of abuse and neglect in people who are at risk.

  • Yea, absolutely

  • We can't function without communication

  • Absolutely

  • Absolutely

  • Communication is the key

  • I concur, very brilliant contribution

  • Peter and manager should have both been present to help support peter because it's a team work.

  • A professional should know when he/she is sharing the right information.

However it's nice to escalate any challenges you may face to youd super

  • I love this, wish everyone would be thinking like this.

  • Why?

  • Would study the chart more

  • Confidentiality is nice but would always share with stakeholders

  • I literally agreed with you

  • How and why?

  • Absolutely

  • A good safeguarding champion must be able to communicate effectively and know when and how to share confidential information.

However, reading body language , knowing if they are in a safe place, is there anyone with them, are they comfortable with speaking online or do they have access, any neglect or abuse history, So many things to consider

  • Important of good communication

  • I would firstly go prepared with all notes, be completely honest and transparent in my involvement regarding the care given. I would listen, ask questions.

    Then start implementation at once

  • Bad communication would destroy any good relationship

  • This is well packaged course

  • I sincerely concur with you.

  • It's a very straight forward illustration

  • Firstly I would be thinking how my intervention will make an impact and what is the best approach to handle the situation.
After the application if it didn't work, i would escalated to the nurse in charge who referred me to the local safeguarding pathways

  • Awesome

  • They needs constant support

  • Stephen, Nursing care assistant from Nigeria

  • Let's get going!

  • Safety starts from you first

  • It's clear and helpful!

  • I sincerely concur with this ideal, it has proven to work overtime

  • The truth still remains!!!
If we do not educate the public, this situation will only get worse.

We hust have to take action now!

  • Thanks mentor

  • Done

  • I concur, the consumption of fast food is becoming alarming (e.g Noodles)

  • @carolinnes i totally concur on this. Poor hygienic conditions is the main cause of infection.

  • Done!

  • The possible solution is washing hand and eating fresh foods. The main important is prevention.

    And maintaining good hygienic conditions
