    I followed all the steps in the tutorials. It went smoothly. What the functions of each step in the workflow are, how they are involved, how I can change it. I need to study more about the workflow.

    Introduction to sequencing methods

    Illumina's Miseq and Miseq FGx are used to sequence SARS-COV2 and for forensic applications. I have heard about the impressive technology of Oxford Nanopore since 2018 but it generated higher error rates even in my partner lab. But now all are different, the accuracy of the Nanopore Sequecing is improved a lot, it is worth to own.

    Overview of genomic, sub-genomic and anti-genomic sequences

    Genomic Sequences is origin in viral replication. Anti Genomic Sequences performed three functions, protein synthesis in viral replication, create more gRNAs and acquired nucleocapside shell and lipid bilayer membrane . Sub Genomic Sequences are for synthesis of new virions.

    What do you think are the challenges in this process?

    Analysing the genomic data is very complicated. What is new variants, what type of variants are the real and the variants are needed to see carefully. Need a lot of knowledges about the genetic samples that we will sequence and analyse. There is a challenge to use a suitable bioinformatic piplinent to interpret the results.

    2 is likely a sequencing error
    3 is likely a heterozygous
    4 ​and 5 are low coverages and possible sequencing errors.

    My friend Harry work as a life science researcher. His work is researching on DNAs and RNAs of prokaryotes and eukaryotic organisms to search mutant genes and harzardous organism. His job is very very difficult to do because it need high concentration and many experiences on the researching of DNAs and RNAs.
