Ok, looking forward to updated content. Thanks a lot. Nicely arranged and organized course. I particularly appreciate the way the team members are themselves involved in discussions. Once again thank you all.

I answered 3 to all. But still have to learn more as Biochemistry is very big subject

* I think the completion and publication of the human genome in 2003, that help to figure out numerous diseases especially their causes (genetical disorders) is a big advance in biochemistry and far one of the most important aspects of biochemistry. Note that without the discovery of the proper structure of DNA that is not possible...
* All biochemists... -

Nice timeline,that's great. Thanks!
I think Just Watson and Crick are used to be assigned the report of the double helical structure of DNA, but here you talk about Wilkins too. I then just want to know if there is a special reason for that...? -
@ShonaHepworth I search the course by myself and was attracted by the topic then I get on.
Thanks! -

1. The washing up liquid, salt and water together form the extraction solution; this solution is prepared at step 2 and used at step 3. The alcohol (previously put in a freezer) is used at step 6.
2. The DNA is the white cloud-like substance formed at the interface between the alcohol and the fruit mixture.
3. I think after doing this experiment we do not... -

My point of view is that all the skills previously enumerated are equally important for the biochemist; nevertheless I would propose that "analytical and research skills" competencies are the most important. Anyway I think having the above competence means we already gain a large part of the other enumerated competencies. So I would like to gain that skill by...

Nice!

I really appreciate the explanation around "biochemistry" and "Biochemists", the different type of tasks...
Thanks! -

Hello! I am Luther and currently enrolled in M.Sc. in biochemistry and molecular biology at Kunming medical university (Yunnan, China). I had a bachelor degree in "Medical laboratory analysis" in my country before beginning the master degree two years after. I am really interested by Biochemistry but honestly I loose some notions. I so look forward to refresh...
