I find this course to be a very great and insightful one. I could say it was specially designed for me. I took up the course because my online classes weren't going in well initially. Each session was tedious and stressful but after I took up this course, it's been totally different. Classes have been interactive

So far, I have been able to build a community of students and we've all decided to continue with online class even after this lockdowm.
I have learnt to be patient with myself and not to be too hard on myself. I've also learnt how to do it one step at a time and not try to rush it all. -

I use Google doc to prepare the class in transcript form. I send this to the students and the study. The good thing about using Google doc is that you can monitor their activity just like real time. With this I prepare them for the online synchronous class.
I use Skype or Zoom to teach the online synchronous class.

I use both synchronous and asynchronous systems. I usually send materials a s short videos asynchronously to give the students prior knowledge of the course, then we all go on live sessions ( synchronously) to broaden the class and explain what was previously done asynchronously.

I teach adults so I don't have issues with comportment, I still set rules however.
I really need to pay much attention to my introduction. I guess I'll do so with my next group. It's very important -

That makes two of us. Students need to really feel comfortable and know our efforts as their teachers.
The aspect of students changing from their normal traditional setting is very challenging but not impossible. Best of luck -
My priority for the week is to organise my agenda before the start itself. I just have to be kind to myself as suggested and adviced. I just have to choose something manageable and achievable.

I have used Zoom once but couldn't manoeuvre my ways very well. I guess I still need to study and know how it works.
I'll try out Panopto as mentioned by a learner in on of the comments.
My major challenge is how to use the online whiteboard and sharing the screen with my students while teaching. Can someone walk me through this process briefly?

I've used Zoom for my classes and it has been a very useful platform for me and the students

I train teachers/ professors and I also teach English using EMI here in Cape Verde Islands.
Our official language is Portuguese, so teaching English can be quite challenging and fun-filled.
Asides this, I also offer preparation for TOEFL and IELTS but classes have been on a hold for some time. I need this online course to be able to get my students/learners... -

Contagious ailments and diseases are rampant in some crowded communities like mine.
Getting clustered and being in contact with people without taking precautionary measures really contribute to outspread of disease.

She's mentioned effective ways to educate the people and the importance of doing so without delay -
This is good initiative and I've got no doubts that they'll have remarkable and effective results in the society

They talked about the cause of viral and bacterial spread such as poor hygiene, poor sanitation ( poor water and poor waste disposal) Good hygiene stops bacteria spread.
Secondly they also talked about educating the Community which shouldn't cost a lot of money and it wouldn't take much time.

In my community, we have some volunteers that work with some NGOs and government agencies to help the community especially in the area of health. We also have some religious groups that employ the services of health workers to help the remote communities. I am a volunteer for one of these organizations and it's so fulfilling working with communities....

About 6 years ago when I just had my baby boy, the doctors told me I had low blood sugar and my glucose was low too.
I was told by the Doctor that I should take more food with sugar to help stabilize this and also for my baby since he was breastfeeding.
Asides this, I should avoid stress and and as a result I ought not to work for some time ( 90 days)

Mahmoud has asked Dr Haddad to visit Nour. He's also requested that Dr Haddad should check if Nour has well ventilated room, healthy diets and she's keeping to her regular exercise

Diabetes has to do with the level of sugar in the blood system.
The sugar level can be high, low or normal.
When the sugar level is high, the patient is on a high risk and medical attention should be given without delay. -
Dr Haddad had called Mahmoud because Nour was his patients and she had fainted that morning. He had called him so he could get her medical history from Mahmoud

Well Zaheer has a back pain and it's been recurring for 7 days. He feels the back pain should be 6 on a scale of 0 to 10 ( 10 beating the worst)
He's been taking herbal medicines which hasn't improved in anyway -
It's been a lovely experience for me. I've been able to complete all the tasks successfully and one of the motivations was nothing other than the quiz. It kept me focused and it helped revised all I've learned.
Asides this, the that that I could download and save the manuscripts of the videos and later study is an added motivation. I love this course -

I feel comfortable speaking in English. I think the first step to learning any language is the ability to feel secure not bothering when you make mistakes since you're learning. Besides, no one is perfect.

Well, I can't recall having problems with people speaking English. However, I think the accent of people varies and this is what determines if I could hear clearly or not, but on a general note, it's easy for me

Where exactly are you feeling this excruciating pain?
When was the first time you had it?
Why didn't you come directly to the hospital at first?
How do you feel now? -
Yes I have, that was when I was pregnant and had to register for an ante natal care and it was a new hospital because I had just relocated to another country.
The information was helpful for the Doctors and I think such data is important for the hospital so as to have a detailed record of every patient -
I would work in Paediatric department. I love to work with kids.
