Explore the role, purpose and design of organisations in a changing world

An array of environmental forces affect companies’ strategies to seek out profitability and growth. Exploring the environments that businesses occupy, you should become familiar with a host of micro and macro factors that impact on establishing successful operational plans.

You will also be introduced to the key theories related to organisational design and the role and purpose of organisations, and you’ll be encouraged to consider issues of social responsibility and ethical dilemmas in relation to the organisational environment.
