I hope you enjoyed the course (I certainly did!), and would like to thank you for being part of it.
If you are interested in learning more about economics of crime, please check out “Controlling Crimes: Strategies and Tradeoffs” (University of Chicago Press, 2011). This is an excellent book that presents the current state-of-knowledge in economics of crime in depth.
In January 2016, the American Economic Association offered a three-day course in economics of crime as part of its annual Continuing Education Program. During the course, professors John Donohue (Stanford University) and Jens Ludwig (University of Chicago), two of the most influential researchers in the field, presented and discussed core issues and recent advances in economics of crime. The webcast of the course is publicly available here.
