Welcome to week 1
Hello and welcome to this course on Strategic Marketing. Segmentation, Targeting and Positioning by the University of Law Business School. My name is Dessy Ohanians and I’m one of the marketing lecturers at the business school. It is great that you are interested in this marketing topic, why is it important and how to perform the three steps of segmenting, targeting and positioning. Throughout the three weeks, you will have the opportunity to delve deeper into each one of the three strategy pillars and to look at practical examples of their application. You will also have the opportunity to share your views, read articles, watch videos and reflect on the skills that you are acquiring.
In this first week, we will look at what each one of the three concepts are, and we will look at the processes and practices of segmentation. Let’s get started.
