Welcome to Week 2 of Language Testing during Awake Brain Surgery!

Last week, you were introduced to the two fields that work hand in hand in this procedure, neurosurgery and neurolinguistics.

Before returning to the characteristics of the intraoperative language testing, this week will focus on the preoperative preparations. How do we know a patient is in need of an awake brain surgery based on this tumour and the assessments he underwent? How do we prepare him for the procedure? Who makes these decisions and how?

Work your way through our different steps and activities and take part in discussions to find out more!
