Summary and goodbye

Prof. Bastiaanse addresses her goodbye at the participants of Language testing during awake brain surgery.

We have now reached the end of our six weeks course on language testing during awake brain surgery. We have gathered a lot of new knowledge together. We have started to grasp the complexity of language and its representation in the brain. We were introduced to the procedure and necessity of an awake brain surgery in our particular patient group. We learned about the prerequisites of a good language test and its application. And we even developed and tested a subpart of it ourselves. And we got to know the latest developments in the field of neuroscience and it’s promising future. We hope you enjoyed exploring this topic with us.
