Watch Aden’s Journey: Episode One

Part 1 of Aden's Journey: 'Introducing the Family'
Hello, mum. Can you say hello to the camera? Oh, no. Are you filming here? I’m busy right now. She’s the best cook in the world. Hi. Hello. And here we have Lettia. And Sierra. Go away. Oh my god. Out of my kitchen now. You go. OK, Mum. OK. I’m done, Mum. Hello, Sara. Can I fill you please? No. I have a few questions for you. Oh my god. Stop. No. I told you to leave! Me, me, me, me, me, me. I can do it. We discussed how dangerous it was. I mean– no. I– No. I-, no.
There has to be another way. We’re safe here together. My name is on the list. We are all in danger. Then, we leave together. We don’t have enough money to get us all out. I’m not leaving you and the girls, but we have to send Aden. He’s too young to go on this journey. Please. He’ll be safer if he leaves. Trust me.
Stay with the man that I take you to. Are you listening to me? He will keep you safe. Okay, my boy?
Peaceful protesters were attacked and killed. The bloodshed had begun. We witnessed those who’d call for changes take up arms. Weapons were smuggled in as a new rebel force emerged.
Keep your phone on. Listen to him, but don’t trust him. Where is my money? Only trust yourself. Okay? I told you my money.
Hurry up. There you are.
OK, let’s go.
