Introducing Steve
Steve Revill is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of UrbanTide. UrbanTide are specialists in making Smart Data through better sharing, analysing and visualisation. UrbanTide offers both software and services to public sector partners to support the delivery of better services and therefore better places.
Steve is an expert in the use of data to make better places and improve outcomes. For the last 4 years he has been a core part of helping to grow UrbanTide from a start-up to an award winning organisation. In April 2018 UrbanTide picked up the ScotlandIS, Digital Technology Award for ‘Transformational Innovation Through Data’.
The award was a recognition of the work done to enhance open data publication whilst removing personal data where UrbanTide worked with North Lanarkshire Council and Snook.
Steve believes “that data offers huge opportunities that society will benefit from if we manage and use it securely and innovatively.”
