Two world-class universities have come together for you

Collaboration has the power to turn something great into something truly special.

That’s why experts from Coventry University in the UK and Deakin University in Australia have come together – pooling knowledge, skills and resources – to design and deliver this unique program.

Together, we’re committed to a supportive, flexible and dynamic approach that puts the learner firmly at the heart of everything we do.

Our commitment to these shared values delivers a compelling and interactive learning experience, carefully designed to help you unlock your true entrepreneurial potential.

Meet the team

Your lead educator is Dr Joan Lockyer, Professor in Education Practice, International Centre for Transformational Entrepreneurship at Coventry University.

She is joined by Professor Gideon Maas, director of the International Centre for Transformational Entrepreneurship at Coventry University.

They are accompanied by Colin Higgins, associate professor and Matt Mount associate professor, both are of the Department of Management at Deakin Business School.

You can follow the team by selecting the links to their FutureLearn profile pages and selecting ‘follow’. That way, you’ll be able to see all the comments they make.

Be curious, be constructive, be compassionate

Throughout this course, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded learners, lead educators and industry peers, and to shape the discussion by sharing your thoughts and experiences.

To help you get the most out of this, we encourage you to be:

• Curious – ask questions, seek clarification, be open to others’ differences
• Constructive – build on other learners’ ideas, arguments or experiences
• Compassionate – be kind and respectful towards others.

Sometimes, your educators might ask you to share personal opinions or experiences that may be sensitive or controversial in nature. In such situations, you should only share your thoughts if you’re comfortable doing so.

We can’t wait to see what you achieve.
