Abnormal metabolism can affect body organs, deteriorate the function of organs and shortens our lifespan. One of the main reasons for chronic diseases comes from bad habits, or improper lifestyle and diet. Bad diet habits can lead to hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and hyperglycemia.

Prof. Hsieh will explain the process of how an imbalanced diet leads to imbalanced nutrients intake and then one’s body falls into abnormal metabolism and finally lead to the clinical symptom, chronic disease in the end. The process takes years.
