Leadership style questionnaire

We’ve looked at why you want to be a leader. Now let’s explore your leadership style.

Your task

1. Download the quiz (a Microsoft Excel file).
2. Read the instructions on the first tab of the document.
3. Using the code, complete all the tabs before checking your results.
4. When you have your ‘Leadership Style’ results from the results tab, move on to the next step (keep your results handy).

For learners without access to Excel, a PDF file has been uploaded to this step as an alternative.

Tips for completing the questionnaire:

• Answer quickly and do not overthink your decisions.
• Respond as a headteacher. If you are not already a headteacher, imagine that you are one. What we are examining are some of your fundamental beliefs – about yourself and your job – and your behaviours that stem from those beliefs.
