Fake Door testing

Ayush talks about how to test your idea, and get valid feedback from would-be customers.

In this film, Ayush, a student at the University of York, talks about how to test an early stage idea on your intended market.

He talks about his experiences with questionnaires, and how they don’t always work – how to ask the right questions and get useful feedback, and how to use something called a ‘fake door’ test to really test how interested people are in your idea.

FInally, Ayush talks about the importance of having a clear set of values and a mission which really chimes with your audience, and how to convey that to maximise your brand positioning.
