Introduction by Anthony Salamone (The University of Edinburgh) on how the course will explore the history and politics behind the UK's EU referendum.
Hello and welcome to our course: Towards Brexit? The UK’s EU Referendum. I’m Anthony Salamone from the University of Edinburgh. This marks one full week left of campaigning before the UK’s historic vote on EU membership on 23 June 2016. This week in the course, we look at the EU in a nutshell and the history of the UK’s EU relationship. We’ll also consider the politics behind the referendum and we’ll analyse David Cameron’s EU renegotiation. Don’t forget to take part in our Referendum Round-up and Twitter Town Hall later in the week. Enjoy the week.
