As chefs, we are in very exciting and rapidly changing times!

Manual shift rostering, physically counting of stock, ordering stock telephonically, tasks that are every chef’s nightmare, but not anymore.

Finding new ways of working through integrated technology business solutions and the use of smart technology is not only allowing us to focus on gaining efficiency in our kitchen by automating processes that were previously manual. We can now see immediate results through business intelligence (BI).

Smart technologies and gadgets are time-saving and accurate, ensuring that the quality of food produced is of a consistent standard.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not all a breeze, introducing technology means change, and so getting your team’s buy-in through communication and training is essential.

This course will provide you with some idea of what technologies are available and how they can be of benefit in your organisation.
