Start your ‘Journey to Birth’ map

In this article, you will be encouraged to begin using a "Journey to Birth map".

Have a look at the outline plan listed below under “Downloads” and see if you can now fill in the first two items under the “Weeks 1 and 2” heading.

The section headings under each week are related to the information you will have studied that week. Every week, there will be more questions for you to think about. By the end of Week 6, you will have mapped out all your ideas and planned for the kind of labour and birth you would like.

At the end of the course, you can look back and see how your ideas have changed and developed as you progressed through your own ‘journey to birth’.
