Practising Relaxation

In this step, you will learn how to use relaxation effectively.

The weeks are passing and you are getting nearer to the time when you will birth your baby. It is important to keep practising the relaxation or hypnobirthing techniques that you have learned.

You have all the links to the hypnobirthing tracks in Step 2.9 and Step 3.5. Last week, in Step 4.8, we gave you links to the fear release tracks. Use these any time you begin to lose confidence in yourself. Try to practise using your mantras and affirmations at least twice a week and then daily for the last few weeks of pregnancy.

In the “See Also” section below, you will find links to two videos. The first shows hypnobirthing in action, while the second shows a combination of water and hypnobirthing techniques.
