With the additional benefits of innovation and the role of technology in developing new and exciting products, as well as enabling you to reach more people, the sky really is the limit.

Having learnt from some of the industry’s successful entrepreneurs in the case studies, you can now see some of the ways in which ideas are realised. There is no one fixed set of rules or a playbook for building a successful business, which is why we’ve explored the various scenarios for funding your idea, including from external sources or initial sales. You should, by now, have considered how your personal circumstances might influence the decision to go down either route.

It should also be clear, from what you’ve learnt, that building a successful business in wellness is dependent on having a team of passionate and committed individuals alongside you. Rest assured that whilst it can be a lonely journey being a founder, your goal is to surround yourself with other brilliant minds in the form of a team or network, so that you feel connected and supported.

You also now know that whilst there are many different ways in which to market your product or service, you have a limited capacity. This means you need to focus – which will be a recurring theme throughout your entrepreneurial journey. Having a positive attitude and a growth mindset will also have an enormous impact on your ability to enjoy the process, including the highs and lows that lie ahead.

Failures will be inevitable. But as you’ve learnt, it is how you deal with these failures that matters. You are going to need to see these as an opportunity to learn, or give up. This is the difference between a successful founder story and becoming a statistic.

With resilience, dedication, and a willingness to play the long game, there is a fantastic journey ahead of you. The wellness industry is thriving and your passion is needed more than ever. Armed with everything you have learnt so far, you are in a strong position to make a difference, should you decide to launch and grow a business in wellness.
